Blue lake ıstanbul

mimar sinan

The first signs of life within the boundaries of today’s Istanbul are seen in Küçükçekmece region with its history extending to prehistoric ages. Archaeological excavations started in 2007 at Yarımburgaz Cave, situated on the northern shore of Lake Küçükçekmece, have brought to light tools showing that the economy of the first Istanbul residents was based on hunting and fishing.

The reason why it is referred to as “Küçük-çekmece” Lake (Küçük means small) while actually it is bigger than “Büyük-çekmece” Lake (Büyük means big) is the small bridge over the passage that provides the sea connection to the lake. In historical sources, this bridge is called "Ponte Piccolo" in the meaning of "Small Bridge".

The architectural landmark of Küçükçekmece, Mimar Sinan's historical bridge is also in close proximity to Blue Lake project.

Blue Lake project is located by the lake shore of Küçükçekmece Lake, enriched with the stunning views of Küçükçekmece Lake and Marmara Sea, offers premium and truly exclusive living spaces where green meets blue.

Blue Lake is situated 15 minutes to Atatürk Airport, 11 minutes to Florya and only 3 minutes to metrobus. Canal Istanbul which will be completed in the coming years is also in close proximity to the project. Moreover, Blue Lake will have easy access to public transportation links and close to schools, universities and shopping malls.
